I've had the pleasure of working with Ben early in his career, and I was immediately impressed by his exceptional understanding of security laws in Ontario and his ability to apply them in real-world situations. But what truly sets him apart is his passion for teaching and mentoring others.
One of Ben's greatest strengths is his ability to develop training methodologies that captivate his students and eliminates the typical “boring boardroom” training environment. He's a master at using real-world examples to bring complex concepts to life, and his approach has inspired countless individuals to excel in their roles. What I've seen in Ben is a genuine commitment to developing others, and a recognition that the best way to achieve that is by continually developing himself. His selfless approach to teaching and mentoring is inspiring, and it's clear that he takes pride in helping others succeed.
Throughout his career, Ben has demonstrated a remarkable ability to balance security law, training and tactics and he's always looking for ways to improve and share his expertise. I highly recommend Ben for any role that leverages his passion for security and training – he's a seasoned professional with a heart for teaching and learning.

For my money, Ben Wallace is perhaps one of the best 5 tactical physical security trainers in Canada. His knowledge, study and preparation, ensure that students receive the most current and effect means of employing tactics in high stress circumstances when they need them most. Though what I believe makes Ben amongst the best, is that in addition to having acquired relevant knowledge in the martial arts, he isn’t a gym instructor. Ben’s the real deal. Ben’s the guy you send when you don’t want a problem. He is as solid as they come. The GardaWorld teams in Ottawa while Ben was with us, did about 3,000 apprehensions and around 600 use of force reports annually. Ben trained them. Not a single lawsuit. Not a single complaint of excessive force and in my mind, most important, not a single injury during an apprehensions of either our staff or the public. Somethings speak louder than words. That was not the case before Ben’s arrival, but it certainly was after. Ben was able to create, through countless hours of instruction (1000’s of hours volunteered by Ben to help out individual team members) a culture of professionalism, confidence and a commitment to de-escalating circumstance while at the same time providing a level of ability that should things go sideways, the team had the skill set to get it resolved quickly and efficiently. That left an indelible mark on the team that lasted well beyond Ben’s departure.
Hiring Ben was amongst the best investments we ever made in bettering ourselves and providing better services to our clients.Ben has acquired his knowledge, experience and expertise the old fashion way. He earned it.

I have been training with Ben for a few months he is the kind of teacher that is highly motivated to ensure the success of his students. He teaches skills that can be applied to on duty or off. The skills that I have learnt from him helped me safely end a dangerous situation and take the subject into custody without injury to those involved.
